Hi, I’m Tracy Sheehan, your personal Destination Wedding Specialist—and I’ll be with you from start to finish, ensuring the entire planning process goes smoothly.
A little about me: I’m located in a tiny town just south of Boston, Massachusetts. I’ve been married to Bob for over 20 years and am a proud mom to two boys(men), Brady and Cooper—plus our lovable golden retriever, Maximillion (aka our furry family member 💕).
When I’m not talking about travel and weddings or traveling myself, I’m usually spending time with my family or out walking dogs, which I do as a hobby! My boys are all about football, so I spend a lot of time watching them play, and yes I live in New England, and we are pretty loyal to our home teams! Not too long ago, I made a career change to pursue travel full-time—and it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping a couple find the perfect venue for their dream wedding! My only request? That I get to see the photos afterward!
“Everything Tracy did for us was amazing. You made everything 100x easier and smoother for me. You were very responsive and fast with every question and concern myself or my family and friends had. She never let me miss any detail—and with all that, I thank you.”
“Tracy is the most patient, kind person who helped us with our destination wedding in Fiji @Namale. The best experience of a lifetime and a wedding planner who is detail-oriented and very responsive!! Looking forward to future travels with Tracy and her skilled planning that makes everything so seamless and stress-free!! Love, love working with this lady.”
“We had the privilege of working with Tracy on our Cabo wedding, and honestly, it was the most amazing process I could have expected. Tracy guided me through everything and answered every question or concern I had. She not only helped my hubby and me with our travel but also assisted our families—everyone was so grateful. She was there through the whole process and even gave us awesome ideas for Cabo after the wedding. It was an AMAZING experience, and I couldn’t be more grateful.”
Yes, a destination wedding is often more affordable than a traditional wedding at home—especially when you choose an all-inclusive venue. On average, couples who marry in destinations like Mexico or the Caribbean spend less than $10,000. That said, I’ll provide realistic numbers tailored to your guest count and travel needs. By bundling accommodations, meals, drinks, and the wedding package into one cost, you and your guests can enjoy a beautiful and transparent experience—knowing all travel expenses are paid for before departure.
Nope! One of the biggest advantages of working with me is that you (and your guests) don’t need to pay everything upfront. DestinationWeddings.com offers flexible "Pay As You Go" options. One option is to work directly with me to set up a custom payment plan. Another is using Affirm, which lets you spread payments out beyond the due date if needed. This allows you to manage costs comfortably—without the stress of paying all at once.
Yes! During the planning process, you’ll work closely with two key people:
And of course, I’m always here to help with anything you need throughout the process. Just ask!
There is no charge to work with me! My services are 100% complimentary because I’m paid by the resorts. You’ll only need to cover the cost of your accommodations, airfare, and wedding package. This allows you to benefit from professional guidance and planning—at no extra cost to you.
I recommend starting your destination wedding planning 10–12 months in advance to allow time for planning and guest arrangements. Some couples start as early as 18–20 months out, while others with shorter engagements plan successfully in 6–8 months. I even plan elopements—my most recent was a beautiful one in Fiji!
Planning ahead helps your guests too—it gives them time to save, coordinate flights, and pay for their stay. The more time we have, the more flexibility and options you’ll enjoy to make your wedding perfect.
Group pricing typically covers all-inclusive resort packages, but flights are often booked separately. That’s because airfare isn’t always available that far in advance. I recommend booking your own flights (and having guests do the same), but I’m always happy to advise on the best options and timing!
First, and most importantly, my services are completely free to you! I'm an open book and love to talk about how I work, so ask anytime. Second, I’m so excited to work with you. I’ve spent my entire adult life working closely with customers, and what I truly love most is building relationships and making a difference in people’s lives.
Couples beginning their life together are my primary clients, and I am honored to be part of planning a future filled with joy, love, and unforgettable memories. You can trust me to be your partner as you plan the event of a lifetime!
I’m also passionate about helping families plan milestone vacations—because I know firsthand how special those moments can be. Whether it’s a group getaway or a once-in-a-lifetime family trip, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
You can feel confident knowing that you’re in great hands. The relationships I’ve built extend to trusted resort teams, business development managers, and travel partners who act as my extended team in helping make your dream trip a reality.
Here’s what the process looks like when working with me by your side—from consultation to celebration!
